Precautions in Transporting Children

Units/Clock Hours: 2 Professional Learning Units

Description: This course provides basic knowledge of transportation regulations, and includes a demonstration on how to properly conduct a vehicle passenger check, the use of child safety restraints required by District law, proper loading, unloading, and monitoring of children. Participants will learn where to find vehicular first aid supplies, and how to conduct emergency procedures and response in the event of accidents or breakdowns.
