Praxis Exam Registration Fee Vouchers

OSSE is pleased to announce that individuals seeking an initial or standard teacher credential may request a Praxis Fee Voucher to cover the registration cost of the Praxis II subject area content knowledge exam. To qualify, all teachers must be currently employed by a DC local educational agency (LEA) and complete the OSSE Praxis Voucher Application. After your application is reviewed, you will receive an email with further instructions. Once you receive passing exam scores, you must submit or update your OSSE educator credential application within 30 calendar days.

School-based Health Professionals

OSSE recommends that school-based health professionals practicing as audiologists, counselors, social workers, speech language pathologists and psychologists who are currently employed at a DC public charter school or private school, contact the applicable professional licensing board within the DC Department of Health for information regarding licensing requirements to operate in those facilities.
