Washington, DC – The District of Columba State Board of Education (DCSBOE) will hold a public meeting on recommendations to revise the high school graduation requirements for global education.  The board will receive recommendations from a panel led by Ms. Sally Schwartz of the DC Center for Global Education and Leadership. 

The public meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 5:30 pm at 441 4th Street, NW, in the Old Council Chambers, located on the lobby level of the building.

Constituents who wish to comment at the meeting are required to notify the staff in advance by contacting the Office of the DC State Board of Education by phone at (202) 741-0888 or by e-mail at [email protected]. Please provide one electronic copy of your testimony in advance and bring fifteen copies to the hearing for the State Board Members to view.

The meeting will air live on District Knowledge Network (DKN) Comcast Channel 99, RCN Channel 18, and Fios Channel 12.
