OSSE HOSTS 2012 SMART COLLEGE CHOICE EXPO
WHAT: The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) and Trinity Washington University will partner to host the 2012 Smart College Choice EXPO, featuring several college recruitment stations, preparation resources and on-site workshops for students and parents, including sessions covering financial literacy, college survival, college selection and DCTAG application completion.
Mayor Vincent C. Gray will engage with EXPO attendees and be on hand for remarks and photos during the event, free and open to the public.

BACKGROUND: The 2012 Smart College Choice EXPO will provide over 3,000 District, Virginia and Maryland students and parents the opportunity to meet one-on-one with representatives and financial aid advisors from universities and colleges throughout the country – including 40 top higher education institutions both enrolling and graduating D.C. Tuition Assistance Grant (DCTAG) recipients.
