Mayor Bowser to Celebrate College-Bound High School Seniors With Reach Higher: DC College Signing Day

To highlight her commitment to supporting students in their pursuit of higher education, Mayor Muriel Bowser will celebrate college-bound high school seniors by hosting the first-ever Reach Higher: District of Columbia College Signing Day. First Lady Michelle Obama launched the Reach Higher Initiative last year to encourage students to pursue and complete some form of higher education. Mayor Bowser will be joined by US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and representatives from the District government.
