DC State Athletic Association Announces State Championships Schedule

(WASHINGTON, DC) – The District of Columbia State Athletic Association’s 2014 fall championships begin Saturday, November 1, with boys’ and girls’ cross-country meets at Fort Dupont Park. All state championship games will be broadcast live on NFHSNetwork.com.

The schedule of championships is as follows:

  • Boys’ Cross-Country: Saturday, November 1 at 11 a.m. at Fort Dupont Park
  • Girls’ Cross-Country: Saturday, November 1 at 11 a.m. at Fort Dupont Park
  • Volleyball - 12-team tournament with higher seed hosting games until finals.
    • First-round: Tuesday, November 4
    • Quarterfinals: Wednesday, November 6
    • Semifinals: Thursday, November 6
    • Championship: Friday, November 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Trinity Washington University
  • Girls’ Soccer - Eight-team tournament with higher seed hosting games until finals.
    • Quarterfinals: Monday, November 3
    • Semifinals: Wednesday, November 5
    • Championship: Saturday, November 8 at 3:30 p.m. at Georgetown University
  • Boys Soccer - Eight-team tournament with higher seed hosting games until finals.
    • Quarterfinals: Monday, November 3
    • Semifinals: Thursday, November 6
    • Championship: Saturday, November 8 at 6 p.m. at Georgetown University
  • Class A Football - Eight-team tournament coinciding with DCIAA Stripes playoffs.
    • Quarterfinals: Saturday, November 15 at noon and 3 p.m. at Anacostia High School
    • Semifinal: Saturday, November 22 at 2 p.m. at Anacostia High School
    • Championship: Saturday, November 29 at 3 p.m. at Catholic University
  • Class AA Football - Four-team tournament coinciding with DCIAA Stars playoffs.
    • Semifinal: Saturday, November 29 at noon at Catholic University
    • Championship: Saturday, December 6 at 3 p.m. at Eastern High School
  • All-State Football Game: Saturday, December 6 at noon at Eastern High School

*Top senior players compete against each other.

The mission of the District of Columbia State Athletics Association (DCSAA) is to serve member schools and the maximum number of their student-athletes by providing leadership and support for interscholastic athletic programming that will enrich the education experiences of all participants.
