Priority schools are required to implement all seven Turnaround Principles using intervention strategies that are sufficient to achieve change and demonstrate progress. One or more interventions must be selected from each of the seven principles listed in the below document.

The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) is pleased to provide new Physical Education standards that reflect the changing landscape and needs of the District of Columbia.

Beginning in 2012, Center City’s English as a Second Language (ESL) department implemented ESL After the Bell, an after school language development program to increase proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

The attached checklist below is designed for parents/legal guardians of eligible students who receive transportation services.

The US Department of Education requires the annual collection of faculty and staff data. The Department of Education uses this data primarily for the Non-Fiscal Surveys of the Common Core of Data.

This document describes Points of Contact (POCs) listed in eSchoolPLUS. LEAs are required to add and update these POCs throughout the school year. Relevant divisions at OSSE often use these Points of Contact to reach out to LEAs.
