The Summit’s Planning Committee is accepting proposals for presentations for DC’s first-ever Inclusive Schools Week Summit. The Summit is part of an overall District strategy to vastly improve the capacity of D.C.’s public schools to provide high quality educational opportunities for students with disabilities. It has been planned as a largely community-led conference where teachers present to their peers on how to make instruction accessible and challenging for all students, where parents provide enlightenment on strategies and resources they have used to help others tap into their son or daughter’s infinite potential, and where administrators and community leaders shed light on innovative ways to help all of our students pursue their dreams.
