Higher Education Licensure Commission (HELC): Commissioner Vacancy

The DC Higher Education Licensure Commission (HELC)  is a mayoral-appointed regulatory consumer protection authority responsible for establishing standards in postsecondary education, licensing and regulating postsecondary educational institutions, investigating complaints against institutions, and maintaining records from closed institutions.  Persons interested in serving on the Board must be DC residents age 18 or over with knowledge regarding the operation of postsecondary institutions. Currently there are no vacancies on the board.
