OSSE's School Gardens Program and the Washington Youth Garden host virtual monthly Food and Garden Education Open Space sessions. The purpose is to increase capacity of participants to provide high-quality garden based and nutrition education to students, and to increase partnership opportunities for teachers and community-based organizations (CBOs). The open space is for food and garden educators to collaborate, share, and learn in large and small groups. Each month we will focus on different topics related to garden-based distance and in-person education.
Join us on the third Wednesday of each month from 4-5 p.m. We will break in July and August and return in September Below are the scheduled Open Space dates:
- Wednesday, June 16, 2021
- Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021
