The enrollment audit for CBOs is an audit of children enrolled in pre-K3 and pre-K4 in CBOs receiving Pre-K Enhancement and Expansion Program (PKEEP) funds. It includes three components:
- Residency Verification: An audit of children enrolled in pre-K 3 and pre-K 4 in community-based organizations receiving PKEEP funds. Upon completion of the enrollment audit, each CBO receives funding for each enrolled preschool-aged student verified as a District resident.
- Age Verification: Confirmation that enrolled student meets the age requirements under the PKEEP regulations.
- Verification of At-Risk Status: Determination of whether a pre-K student qualifies as at-risk (students in foster care, who are experiencing homelessness or receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits) and is eligible for a supplemental funding allocation.
