Location:
2700 F St. NW
Building:
The Reach-Kennedy Center
Details:

This two-part training explores how active and cooperative drama strategies can support emotional learning for High School, Middle School, and Elementary School students. Theses scientific research strategies are proven with grades 1-12 and are revolutionizing how we teach and learn. The interactive and engaging approach empowers the students to work on their social and emotional skills while simultaneously helping their participants retain more information. The activities will help educators engage their participants more effectively with tools they can use in their curricula or modules that make learning more fun and act as a strong vehicle for academic enrichment. As part of the training series, facilitators will offer follow-up instructional coaching to teachers to implement these strategies in their classroom.

The target audience for this training is educators serving grades 1-12.
