Units/Clock Hours: 2.5 Professional Learning Units
Description: This session will help participants better understand developmental readiness for introducing solid foods to infants and the process of transitioning to table foods. Participants will also be provided with ways to promote good nutrition that will prepare children for a lifetime of growing and learning. This two and a half clock hour training will also cover the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) infant meal pattern and feeding guidelines, which all licensed providers are required to follow.
