Using a functional behavior approach, the training will focus on:

  • An understanding of the ABC’s of behavior;
  • Working knowledge of how to identify the function of student behavior;
  • Practice building a behavioral plan for specific students; and
  • Resources and tools to help bolster intervention plans on their campus.

The workshop is intended for teachers, school deans, and behavior technicians serving in public and public charter schools in the District.
