This full-day professional development session prepares instructional leaders to successfully support the implementation of Eureka Math™. Participants will learn about the curriculum through the lens of the shifts required by the Common Core State Standards and return to their schools with the tools to assist the school community. This workshop will deepen participants’ understanding of using classroom observation as a tool for coaching, continual feedback, and building teacher capacity. Participants will also learn about systems and structures that promote and help maintain effective classroom instruction in mathematics. Educators are asked to bring their laptops.
This training is recommended for LEA and school leaders, administrators, instructional coaches, and support staff serving in DC public and public charter schools.
