OSSE’s Homeless Education Program will host Addressing Chronic Absenteeism and Other Barriers for Students Experiencing Homelessness: Professional Development Training for LEA Homeless Liaisons on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at OSSE in the Eleanor Holmes Norton I, II & III conference rooms. This training will provide LEA Homeless Liaisons with techniques for addressing chronic absenteeism among students experiencing homelessness, assisting preschool-aged children experiencing homelessness with accessing early childhood educational settings and identifying additional community resources for children, youth and families experiencing homelessness.

LEA Homeless Liaisons should register by Thursday, April 12, 2018.
