DCTAG is a unique student financial aid program designed to offer District of Columbia residents expanded options and opportunities in their college choices by paying the difference between in and out-of-state tuition costs at public colleges and universities across the country. Over 19,000 students have reaped the benefits of DCTAG since its inception in 1999; many of which would not have enrolled in college without the program.
The DCTAG 10-Year Accomplishments Report and the DCTAG Accomplishments 2013 Report highlight the accomplishments of the DCTAG program and shares data on DCTAG awards paid, college-going trends of DC students and the program’s outcomes. The DCTAG Top 20 Institutions for Student Retention highlights the institutions that are successful at keeping DCTAG students enrolled during the critical freshman to sophomore year.
