DCLEAP Get funding for college

DC Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership Program (DCLEAP)

The DCLEAP is a grant that assists eligible District residents, who demonstrate financial need. DCLEAP award amounts are per academic year, toward the total cost of attendance at public and private colleges and universities in the United States, Guam and Puerto Rico.

You may apply for DCLEAP using the online DC OneApp application process.  Review the following information before applying for DCLEAP.

DCLEAP Eligible Institutions

All colleges and universities certified by the US Department of Education as being eligible to participate in Federal Title IV Student Aid Programs.

Proprietary institutions are not eligible. Proprietary institutions are defined, by the Internal Revenue Service, as institutions that are for profit.
