Award Amounts

Up to $5,000 per academic year if attending an eligible college or the university in the District of Columbia.

Awards are limited to a maximum of six (6) years from the date of the first term the student is enrolled in college, for a lifetime maximum of $25,000.

Awards will be reduced for less than full-time enrollment, with no eligibility below the half-time level.
- Awards do not cover the summer or mini-terms.
Eligible Institutions

All colleges and the university in the District of Columbia, certified by the US Department of Education as being eligible to participate in Federal Title IV Student Aid Programs.

Proprietary institutions are not eligible. Proprietary institutions are defined, by the Internal Revenue Service, as institutions that are for profit.
