Up to $5,000 per academic year [award will be reduced for less than full-time enrollment] if attending an eligible institution in the District of Columbia.
Awards are limited to a maximum of six (6) years from the date of the first term the student is enrolled in college, for a lifetime maximum of $25,000.
Awards do not cover the summer or mini-terms.
Eligible Institutions
All postsecondary institutions, in the District of Columbia, certified by the US Department of Education as being eligible to participate in Federal Title IV Student Aid Programs.
Proprietary schools are not eligible. Proprietary schools are defined, by the Internal Revenue Service, as institutions that are for profit.
