The Office of the State Superintendent of Education's (OSSE) Higher Education Financial Services and Preparatory Programs (HEFS & P2) provides a variety of resources to help you find student financial aid to pursue higher education at your chosen college or university. You may use the online DC OneApp to apply for the District of Columbia's state-level higher education grants the DCTAG, DCLEAP and DC Adoption. To learn the grant(s) criteria, select the grant(s) you are interested in applying for below.

To access the DC OneApp application select "Apply for Grants Online" below.

Completing the DC OneApp is a three-step process that requires:

  1 Completing the DC OneApp at dconeapp

           2 Completing the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov 

              3 Providing the DC OneApp supporting documents* 

 

All DC OneApp required supporting documents must be mailed or delivered to HEFS & P2 at the same time. Incomplete supporting documents will be returned to the applicant and the DC OneApp will be incomplete.  Incomplete applications can not be considered for an award.
