On Monday, November 30, District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser and Deputy Mayor for Education Jennie Niles will join State Superintendent Hanseul Kang and District education leaders for a presentation of grades 3-8 results from the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) assessments. The new math and English language arts assessments replaced the DC CAS as the annual standardized assessment for District students and were administered for the first time in spring 2015. The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) released high school results in October.
