D.C. State Athletic Association Announces State Champtionships Schedule

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The District of Columbia State Athletic Association’s 2015 spring championships begin Friday with the first-ever state tennis championships at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center. All state championship games will be broadcast live on NFHSNetwork.com.

The schedule of championships is as follows:

·         Tennis: Preliminary rounds Monday through Thursday. Finals on Friday at Southeast Tennis and Learning Center, doubles at 5:30 p.m., singles at 7 p.m. The full brackets (girls singles and doubles, boys singles and doubles, and mixed doubles) can be found here: http://tennislink.usta.com/Tournaments/TournamentHome/Tournament.aspx?T=170596#&&s=7Draws2

·         Softball: Seven-team tournament. Quarterfinals on Wednesday at higher seed. Semifinals Friday at Nationals Youth Baseball Academy, 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Final on Saturday at Nationals Youth Baseball Academy, 1 p.m. All-Star game on May 29 at 7 p.m. The full bracket can be found here: https://www.dcsaasports.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/2015-Softball-Tournament-Bracket.pdf

·         Outdoor Track and Field:  Thursday and Friday, May 21-22, at Spingarn High, 4 p.m. each day.

·         Baseball: Seven-team tournament with bracket announced on May 22. Quarterfinals at higher seed on May 27. Semifinals on May 29 at Nationals Youth Baseball Academy, 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.. Final on Sunday, May 31 at Nationals Park, noon. All-Star game precedes championship game at 9 a.m.
