Provider/Program Spotlight: Paulette Sansbury

Paulette Sansbury is an educator committed to incorporating the best practices of child development into her program. She opened up her Child Development Home, God is So Good Child Development Home, after retiring from an extended career in banking. Ms. Sansbury has worked to provide affordable, high-quality care to children and families in her community for almost five years. Serving infants and toddlers, she recognizes the uniqueness of each child in her program and strives to understand the child’s perspective so that she can best support their growth and development.

As part of DC’s Quality Improvement Network (QIN), Ms. Sansbury has been actively participating in one-on-one coaching with an Early Childhood Mentor and attending child development courses in order to better equip herself with the skillsets and resources to take back to her facility. She also takes this increased knowledge and shares it with her peers in the early learning community. Paulette has truly opened herself up to learning new information and approaches the learning process with eagerness and joy that translates to high quality care in her child development home.
