DC Tuition Assistance Grant (DCTAG) Reports

The DCTAG 10-Year Accomplishments Report and 10 Year Retrospective mark the 10 year anniversary of the DC Tuition Assistance Grant Program (DCTAG).  DCTAG is a unique financial aid program designed to offer DC residents expanded options and opportunities in their college choices by paying the difference between in and out-of-state tuition costs at public colleges and universities across the country. Over 16,000 students have reaped the benefits of this program in the last ten years, doubling the District’s college-going rate.  This report highlights the accomplishments of the DCTAG program during its first ten years, shares new data on the college-going trends of DC students and describes new programs and policies that will help ensure that all District residents are prepared to succeed in college.
