On June 23, 24 and 25, 2015; OSSE’s Division of Early Learning in collaboration with the Department of Human Services (DHS) hosted town hall meetings to discuss the child care subsidy program. Providers, parents and community advocates joined staff to provide feedback and share ideas on how the District can improve the child care subsidy program. During each town hall meeting, attendees dug deeper into the roles, responsibilities and relationships of OSSE, DHS and the child development providers and parents that participate in the child care subsidy program.
