The District of Columbia Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) annually hosts the Young Men's Conference on College and Careers.  The conference will be held on the campus of Gallaudet University and offer students, who are enrolled in DC public and public charter schools in grades 8-12, an opportunity to explore a broad range of exciting career options. Combined, the conference traditionally hosts over 600 students.

The conference includes workshops focusing on high skill, high wage, and high demand careers. The conference also provide networking opportunities with role models in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and other career fields of interest, as well as learning about academic, certification, and licensing requirements.
