Thinking Like a Scientist: Science in Pre-K and Inquiry Learning Part II

Description: Children are naturally curious about the world around them; they learn from their observations every day. Educators and childcare providers have a wonderful opportunity to cultivate the scientist in all of our young children. These workshops are designed to give early childhood educators and childcare providers the confidence and enthusiasm to effectively teach science to young children. Participants will learn to incorporate scientific inquiry techniques into their preschool classroom or childcare facility. They will develop tools and knowledge necessary to teach scientific inquiry topics and facilitate a rich learning environment for exploration.
