They will become familiar with basic theories of second- language acquisition and know where to find additional support in The Creative Curriculum® professional development resources. They will learn about daily practice resources that help teachers support dual-language learners. In addition, teachers will understand how to use Teaching Strategies GOLDTM to accurately assess children who speak a home language other than English.
