Norovirus: Everyone Plays a P.A.R.T in Norovirus Control
Norovirus is the leading cause of foodborne illness in the United States. Unlike some viruses, this virus is very hardy and resistant. The training seminar, Everyone Plays a P.A.R.T in Norovirus Control, is a two-hour training that includes audience interaction to improve retention of the learning objectives.
After completing this seminar participants should be able to:
- Describe why norovirus is a concern in Child Nutrition settings
- List the symptoms of norovirus
- Describe how norovirus is transmitted
- Describe norovirus prevention ans control strategies
