Kindergarten Entry Assessment Training
Two-day Training (9/14 and 9/15 from 9AM to 4PM)
The in-person training will include meaningful observation of children; documenting children’s learning; taking effective anecdotal notes and collecting work samples; how to administer all portions of the survey; assessing Dual Language Learners and children with disabilities; how to reliably and consistently evaluate students using the survey instruments; how to accurately report data into a web-based system; how to obtain reports, analyze data, monitor progress over time, and use data to reflect upon and adjust the curriculum and teaching methods; and how to use survey results to communicate with parents. In addition to the two-day training, participants are required to complete self-paced reliability training.
