DC State Board of Education July Public Meeting
DC STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION
DISCUSSES NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY STANDARDS, PROPOSED GRADUATION STANDARDS,
Washington, DC – The District of Columbia State Board of Education (DCSBOE) will hold a public meeting to discuss Dual Enrollment programs. The State Board also will review National Technology Standards and receiving a briefing on Proposed Graduation Requirements. All students, parents, and educators, and community members are invited to provide testimony.
The public meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. at 441 4th Street, NW, in the Old Council Chambers, located on the lobby level of the building.
Individuals who wish to comment at the meeting must notify the staff in advance by contacting the Office of the DC State Board of Education by phone at (202) 741-0888 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please provide one electronic copy in advance and bring 15 copies to the hearing for the State Board members to view.
The meeting will air live on District Knowledge Network (DKN) Comcast Channel 99, RCN Channel 18, and Fios Channel 12.
