5-E DCMR Chapter 30 LEA Focus Group: Specialized Instruction and Caseload/Class Size
The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) is initiating a review of key components of Title 5-E, Chapter 30 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (DCMR), the local regulation that governs special education practice in the District of Columbia, with the intention of revising identified key components. The Division of Specialized Education (DSE) will be releasing surveys and holding topic-specific focus groups on key content area “clusters” to inform the work.
Join OSSE-DSE on August 20, 2014 (3:00 - 4:30pm) for a focus group to discuss topics related to the third content area, Specialized Instruction and Caseload/Class Size. The deadline to register is Friday, August 15. Please register as soon as possible, as space for this event is limited. Once all spots have been filled, you are encouraged to add your name to the waitlist. The addition of your name to the waitlist does not guarantee registration for the event, but ensures that you will be contacted with further instructions on how to register for the event if space becomes available.
Additionally, please complete and submit the survey, Specialized Instruction and Caseload/Class Size, by August 27, 2014.
