Overview of Institution Responsibilities

Updated: August 2020

Administering the Child and Adult Care Food Program includes daily, weekly, monthly, annually, and “as needed” duties. These helpful handouts outline those duties, along with a list of the forms and templates needed to be successful and in compliance.

Download the Overview for your program type: independent center, sponsor of centers and/or homes, or at-risk facilities. You can post it in your office, for easy access. You can share it with staff during onboarding or annual training. You can use it to help develop your institution’s management plan. As always, do not hesitate to contact the assigned CACFP specialist if you have questions about program requirements.
