OSSE’s Adult College Completion Initiative (ACC) seeks to encourage adult learners who have attended college and left without obtaining a degree, to earn their postsecondary credential. Adult learners often run into various challenges that prohibit them from completing their degree goal. The ACC working group aims to provide stronger institutionalized and community based support for adult learners through a district-wide marketing campaign designed to educate stopped out adult learners about the available paths for college completion. Upon the completion of a successful marketing campaign, the ACC working group will develop a targeted program model designed to address the many barriers to adult learner college completion.
The Adult College Completion Initiative (ACC) is led by OSSE and community and postsecondary partners. The ACC working group is responsible for establishing the guiding principles of the ACC Initiative and for developing and implementing strategic plans.
